Utah’s Favorite Candy In 2025 Is Kind Of Weird

Another candy-centric holiday is coming up in Utah, so let’s talk about what the state favors for its sweet tooth cravings.  

Each year, candy companies compete to make more people buy their items. Thats just good business, but some states (or people) prefer a certain kind of candy, and it can change from year to year.  

So what candy is Utah’s first choice? 

Twix.  

That’s right, Utah is a big Twix fan according to data pulled from World Population Review.  

However, Twix isn’t all the popular in the United States overall. The only states who prefer it are Utah and Minnesota. So, Twix isn’t all the in demand in other places which means Utahns and Minnesotans can have as much as they want! 

Just kidding, please don’t overeat candy and get sick. 

As for the most popular candy in the U.S., m&ms rank first. A total of 13 states chose m&ms as their favorite candy followed by 10 states who chose Skittles. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups surprising only made the top candy choice for seven states and Sour Patch Kids only made top choice for four.  

Unfortunately for the classic Hershey’s bar, only one state chose it for its favorite candy in 2025. Milky Way Bars are in the same boat.  

Utah may not be mainstream when it comes to its favorite candy choice, but it definitely chose a classic. The fact that there also happens to be chocolate in Twix makes me think Utah is going to be alright.
