Really Utah? This Is Your Christmas Cookie Choice?
Utah loves a traditional Christmas, which is evident with all the lights and events, but it isn’t the most creative with...Christmas cookies.
Christmas cookies come in a variety for sure and what one can classify as a Christmas cookie also depends on the person. However, there are some cookies that just don’t scream Christmas because you can get the year round. Like chocolate chip cookies for example.
Statistics from Unscramblerer.com, a word unscrambler site looked at the most searched Christmas cookies in each state from Google Trends. Some were basic, some were very Christmassy and some...were not really Christmas related.
So, how did Utah do?
Well, unfortunately we fall into the basic or not really Christmas-related when it comes to most searched Christmas cookies. Utah went for M&M cookies which isn’t all that holiday like.
This is only when Utah gets compared to things like the Christmas bar cookie (Colorado), chocolate peppermint cookies (Indiana), shortbread cookies (Iowa), and Italian Christmas cookies (Texas).
I’m not even sure what the best Christmas cookie is and have absolutely no clue about an Italian Christmas cookie. However, I think Utah could be a bit more peppermint, snickerdoodle, or sugar cookie about its Christmas cookie options.
The Italian Christmas Cookie is apparently a favorite in a lot of states, but the most unique one has to go to Alabama for its Oreo Christmas cookie option. Florida is looking up a cake mix Christmas cookie which is a bit intriguing.
Anyway, Utah let's find some more Christmassy cookies for the season.
