
The Most Terrifying Ride At Lagoon In Utah Is…
With Summer vacation having started for most in Utah, families are looking towards Lagoon Amusement Park for a fun trip.
Filled with several rides that include water, Lagoon has been a staple of Utah Summer since its opening in 1886! It hasn’t gone out of style due to its numerous rides and additions over the years.
Most recently, Lagoon welcomed Primordial in 2023 which is a family friendly ride that takes visitors on a mythic adventure. The thrill level is set to “very high”, the website said. This is a controllable ride that is a little less scary and more immersive.

What Is Lagoon’s Scariest Ride?
Lagoon’s most terrifying ride is Cannibal with a thrill level of “extreme”. This ride goes 70mph and up to 208 ft. The G force or acceleration caused by gravity is 4.2. Cannibal spans 2,735 ft and has no splash level.

- Samurai—Extreme Spinning, 90 seconds, thrill level “extreme”.
- Wicked—55 mph, 4.85 G force, thrill level “extreme”.
- Rocket—Fast ups and downs, 4.5 G force, 217 ft, thrill level “extreme”.
- Time Tinker—Heavy spinning, thrill level “very high”.
- Catapult—Spinning, 4.5 G force, 196 ft, thrill level “extreme”.
Lagoon Amusement Park has 57 rides to choose from and 11 roller coasters. There is also a water park and Lagoon Beach to visit during your time at the park.
With the variety of rides for both families and thrill seekers, it makes sense that Lagoon has stayed a Utah favorite.
