What Experts Recommend Utahns Keep Their AC At In Summer
The age-old question of what to keep your AC at in the summertime is back as three-digits hit Utah for the foreseeable future.
Though the beehive state does not have to deal with humidity, it still gets unbearably hot and really, really dry. So, people now worry about their comfortability in their own home (temp wise) and how to keep the bills down. The truth is, there isn’t a fantastic solution and heat leads to fatigue, worse sleep, and an overall bad time.
What Should Utahns Keep Their AC At?
USA Today reported that keeping your ac at 78 degrees is the optimal temperature during the summer. However, it seems like it gets warmer earlier and stays hot longer, so, is that really feasible?
Even though 78 degrees is the recommended summer house temperature, most people stay between 72 and 76 degrees during warmer months.

USA Today also said that experts recommend going up four degrees from your normal temperature during the cooler hours. Now, I know this is about saving money and using less energy. However, that sounds like torture.
Being hot and sweaty during the day is bad enough. Having to do so at night would really make for an awful time for months on end.
If you can swing it and can keep that ac at 78 degrees, kudos to you. That’s actually really impressive since most people can’t. The economy makes keeping your house bills down a struggle but in the summer, it feels even worse both for your wallet and your body.
