Utah is a gamer state, and though it may not have a lot of meet ups that doesn’t make its residents any less enthusiastic about new game drops.

With Arcane Season 2 coming out in November, even those who don’t like playing League of Legends will be running to Netflix for a continuation of the show from 2021. Personally, the game wasn’t for me, but the lore is out of this world. The show had super rankings by the end of 2021 and though there isn’t data on Utah specifically, I'm sure the state contributed.

Utah ranked as the No.8 state for video game players in the U.S. in 2021 and it may have even gone up since then. According to data from Century Link, Utah is an avid gamer state and is also the state with the most residents with computers. Since LOL is a PC game, it stands to reason that a decent amount of Utahns have played the game.

The beehive state ranked No.2 for least amount of gaming conventions after Vermont but hey, they can’t have everything.

So, will Utah ramp up playing LOL for Arcane Season 2? That remains to be seen. However, it would make sense to start seeing a lot of Jinx cosplays and Halloween costumes this year in anticipation of the show. Not just in Utah, but everywhere.

If you haven’t watched Arcane, this is your chance to join the cult and get as obsessed as the rest of us, gamer or not.
