Utah has a pretty good literacy rate, especially for Kindergarteners but when it comes to this one word, we fail miserably.

Earlier this year, Google sent out a map of the U.S. and all the words that each state has trouble spelling. For Utah, that word is Mississippi. I’ll give you this Utah, I had to double check myself and it is more than 11 characters so it's a pretty long word.

This was based on findings from Google search on how to spell this word.

For some of our neighbor states, the words they needed the most help with are a bit...embarrassing.

For example, New Mexico had trouble with the word quiet and Nevada struggled with Internet. Ironically, California struggled with the word pretty.

On the East Coast the words get a little more interesting. Florida couldn’t spell language and Maine struggled with the word heard.

Is this anything to really be ashamed about? No, but I do have some concerns over the states who had trouble with easier words like ally and field. Honestly, I’m most surprised the word Worcestershire isn't listed anywhere because not only does it suck to try and spell, it’s also difficult to say.

Basically, Google Trends outed states that could work on their spelling but hey, we all have our weaknesses.

Utah was one of the few states that struggled with a word that has at least 11 or more characters in it. We have an excuse but that is one long word.
