The Most Reliable Place To See Aliens In Utah Is…

The West is filled with lots of things like cowboys, old towns, farms and... alien sightings, especially in Utah.  

Utah is home to many cool sights like gorgeous LDS temples and fantastic mountains and lakes. However, for those who are hoping to spot an alien, you may just get a chance. There are a few places in the beehive state where (lucky?) individuals have claimed to see an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAP.  

According to some findings from Axios in 2023, Grand County is the No.1 place in Utah for alien sightings. Between 2000 and 2023, there were 34.3 sightings per 100,000 people which is more than the national average.  

Data from the National UFO Reporter Center gave Utah the No.22 spot for UAP sightings.  

A map from the reporting center shows that Salt Lake City, Ogden, and Provo have had several sightings as well. However, many of the places where most people see UAPs in Utah are part of the Dark Skies community.  

In St. George there have been two reported sightings this year and Cedar City had a few of its own.  

So, for any alien enthusiasts trying to communicate your best bet is going to be in Grand County and a Dark Skies city since that's where most of these sightings seem to happen. If you are feeling really confident. You should report the sighting to the National UFO Reporting Center so they can collect data.  

Most people don’t report and interview from Axios said and there are volunteers who check on the legitimacy of the sighting. But hey, maybe aliens really like the Utah views so who knows if more people have seen them than reported.
