The Native Arts Festival Is An Exciting Must Visit Event In Utah
Ivins will see another busy weekend with the Kayenta Native Arts Market being held for three days.
Previously known as The Festival of the Americas, Kayenta Art Village is once again hosting this family-friendly event. May 2-4 the Native Arts Market will welcome a variety of Native artists of all kinds. Plus, there will also be indigenous performers throughout the whole event for visitors to view.
The Native Arts Market is a free event to attend and takes place in stunning Kayenta. The event is usually pretty packed and it's one of my favorite events in Southern Utah. Artists line the way, and you can see pottery, paintings, jewelry, sculptures, and more.
Not only is it a chance to see or buy some beautiful art for your home but it allows for visitors to learn more about Native cultures. One of my favorite pieces of art I have ever purchased came from this festival and the story behind it is fascinating.

What To Expect At The Native Arts Festival
The festival also holds a silent auction that gives back to the community. Money spent at the auction will go toward the scholarship fund of the Shivwits Band of the Paiute Tribe of Southern Utah. There are other fundraising events throughout the festival.
For those looking to grab some food, don’t worry there will be food trucks at the Native Arts Market. Plus, there is a good chance that some Navajo Tacos will be available!

The Native Art Festival begins on Friday May 2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Then it resumes on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
