Through my 17 years of being a mom, we have had our pictures taken dozens of times.  We have tried to be creative in locations but sometimes it can be hard to find new places.  Here are a few of my favorite locations that we have used for family pictures.

SEEGMILLER FARM

The large wooden barn is perfect for a cool backdrop.  There are also other smaller buildings that create variety.  Another cool thing about Seegmiller farm is they have a few farm animals there.

FIRE LAKE

If you are able to have your pictures taken at sunset, Fire Lake in Ivins is a gorgeous spot.  Not only is there a lake, but there is desert landscape and a large red mountain as a backdrop.

TOWN SQUARE

If it's not too crowded, Townsquare has a lot of great backdrops for pictures.  A variety of different buildings and plants and even a carousel that could be a fun backdrop.

SNOW CANYON SCENIC OVERLOOK

This is by far my favorite location for family pictures.  The view is literally breathtaking and provides the perfect backdrop for any type of photos.  If you're afraid of heights, you may get a little nervous, but it's worth it.

JENNY'S CANYON

A little bit of a hike in to the canyon, but definitely worth the beauty.  The canyon is located inside Snow Canyon State Park and the hike is labeled 'Jenny's Canyon'.  The hike in even has great picture locations.

TONAQUINT NATURE CENTER

Once again, a location that has several different backdrop options.  My favorite is the bridge.  With the trees surrounding the bridge, it makes it look like we are in a different state altogether.
