The weather has been unbearable this Summer in Utah with high temperatures; however, the state might see a break soon.

Southern Utah and St. George specifically has seen some record-breaking heat and even been up in the 110s over the last few months. The heat stays well into the night and only drops a few degrees making outdoor activities difficult.

Looking at the 10-day forecast from the Weather Channel, St. George will see a high of 101/102 F over the next few weeks with a few days predicted to stay around 99F. Now, this may seem like it's not much of a difference, but it will feel like it for Southern Utah residents.

Salt Lake City, a usually colder region of the state, saw some high temperatures this Summer, even making it into the 100s. Predictions from now until the 21 of August show that SLC will start to see temperatures drop into the mid and low 90s in the next few weeks.

With Utah seeing high temps and above average heat all residents can do is hope that temperatures start to drop and make way for Fall weather. Since these temperatures are only predictions, Utah could see higher above average heat into September postponing that crisp Autumn air.

So, if Utah will see a true Fall remains to be seen but it could definitely happen just much later and shorter than in previous years.

I’m ready to indulge in Fall colors in Cedar Mountain and Pine Valley with all of the crisp Autumn vibes.
