Can You Get Your Mail Delivered If Your Mailbox Is Damaged?
Things happen but the point is that if your mail carrier sees a damaged mailbox, you may be unable to get your mail or package. Seems pretty obvious but the United States Postal Service has dedicated a WHOLE WEEK to brining attention to up to code mailboxes.
May 21-27 is the official USPS Mailbox Improvement Week.

This is the perfect week for Utahns to take some time and clean up their mailboxes that may have suffered from the weather or other occurrences (like runaway tractors). It helps you and your neighborhood to keep a clean undamaged mailbox. Plus, your USPS guy won’t curse every time they have to deliver your mail.
