Yes, I know it’s not even Thanksgiving yet but it’s never too early to begin thinking about where you’ll get your Christmas tree.

If you love the smell of a fresh Christmas tree in your home and also want to support your local Christmas tree farm(s), a great way to do so is by planning to buy a Christmas tree. There are a ton of Christmas tree farms across Utah so no matter where you are you can get one.

In Southern Utah there are a few local farms you can grab your Christmas tree from.

Bayles Trees

Bayles Trees is located on Cedar Mountain and their trees start at $60 with different sizes. They tout pesticide and chemical-free trees to make them safe to have in your home. Though they have not yet announced an exact opening date this year, they are debating opening on Nov. 13 or Nov. 20.

Big Trees Nursery

This tree farm is in Kanarraville and the website said they have the largest selection of trees in Southern Utah. Everything to elms and juniper trees. There is no official date for tree sales, but you can call and see what will be available at the end of this month and in December.

If you live up north or are planning a trip in the next few weeks there are quite a few Christmas tree farms including Green Ridge Christmas Trees, Baird Tree Farm, and more.

So, consider grabbing a local tree that you can decorate with your family and supporting a local business near you this holiday season.
