SUU Bringing The Thunder For Homecoming
Southern Utah University homecoming is right around the corner and will have events held at just about every corner of the university.
From sports to parades from alumni to incoming freshmen there should be something for everybody this September.
Homecoming celebrations kick off on the library quad and plaza with a party on the 18th and all-day homecoming celebrations on the 20th.
Eccles Coliseum will host a pep rally and powder puff football game on the 21st and football against Western Illinois on the 23rd.
The Gilbert Great Hall, Hunter Alumni Center will host a homecoming banquet on the 21st and a homecoming pancake breakfast in the adjoining parking lot on the 23rd.
Off-campus, the Heritage Center Theater will host an alumni band concert on the 22nd.
Also, on the 22nd, Forever Red will take place on the upper quad of SUU’s campus as well as True T-Bird Night at the Founders Monument.
If you’re a volleyball fan, you can head over to America First Event Center on the 21st to see the T-Birds face off against Grand Canyon and then California Baptist on the 23rd.
The 23rd also includes a homecoming parade on University Boulevard and a tailgate party at the softball field parking lot.
