It’s that time of year again when Utahns ponder where to get a fresh cut Christmas tree near them.  

There are a few Christmas Tree Farms across Utah that service the good people of the beehive state. If you live up north, you will have more options since there are way more Christmas tree varieties up there.  

Peterson Christmas Trees-Salem, UT 

If you like a real community-centered business, then Peterson Christmas Trees is for you. The business has been around for 10 years serving Salem, UT as a reliable tree source. There have been music nights at the tree farm and even Santa comes to visit. This year they are moving locations since they outgrew their old space.  

The Kinlands-Riverton, UT 

This place has way more than just Christmas trees. During the holidays you can grab Winter goods like figs, nuts and seasonal gifts too. The Kinlands is also an Airbnb as well as a place for workshops and food. They are open year-round.  

Petals and Pines Farm-Tremonton, UT 

Unlike the first two places, Petals and Pines Farm is relatively new. The owners purchased the farmland back in 2022 and opened for business in 2023. That means the trees are still growing but they get some shipped in for you to choose from. There are also flowers and photo opportunities when you go to the farm.  

Bayles-St. George, UT 

Though it may be more of a desert area, Southern Utah has some Christmas trees available too. Book an appointment with Bayles Trees this December. There are also tree stands, and pine bows available for purchase and transportation can be arranged.
