Planning a visit to Bryce Canyon National Park this spring? The park has announced updated facilities, concessions, and shuttle information for the 2024 spring season, aiming to provide visitors with an enhanced experience amidst the natural wonders.

One of the key updates is the operation of the Bryce Canyon Shuttle, starting April 5 to alleviate traffic congestion at popular viewpoints and trailheads. Shuttle service, included with park admission, will commence daily at 8 a.m. until October 20. During spring and fall, the last bus departs at 6:15 p.m., extending to 8:10 p.m. from May 10 to September 22. Free parking is available at the shuttle station in Bryce Canyon City, with restrictions on vehicle length during shuttle hours.

Sunset Campground, closed in winter, opens for first-come, first-served camping from April 15 to May 17, followed by reservation-based camping until October 14. Reservations for both campgrounds can be made online or by phone.

Park concessions have also been updated. The General Store at Sunrise Point now operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours and reopening of shower and laundry facilities on March 27. The Lodge at Bryce Canyon reopens on the same date, offering lodging and dining services. Of course, year round accommodations are available just outside the park at Ruby's Inn. Valhalla Pizzeria is set to reopen in early May.
