Urgent Recall: Walmart Telling Customers ‘Dispose of These Items!’
Another recall is affecting products carried by one of Arizona's major retailers. This time, one of the products in question has been flagged for safety issues. The other has been identified as the cause of severe foodborne illness.
Walmart alerted customers that a recall has been issued for electric blankets sold exclusively on its website, Walmart.com. The sales took place between June 2021 and November 2024.
The blankets are being recalled due to the risk of overheating. So far, there have been 34 reports of blankets overheating, which are responsible for two fires and three burn injuries.

Walmart is currently dealing with two major recalls—one involving MaxKare electric blankets and the other a ready-to-eat Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo product.
