Utah has officially banned the sale of flavored vapes as of March 25, 2025, however, that does not mean they are impossible to get.

Though the decision has been expected by many, it finally went into effect this week causing local shops like Cloud 9 Vapor to take many items off the shelf. Cloud 9 in Washington County went to social media saying they would turn the location into an official smoke shop selling bongs, pipes, mushrooms, etc.

The shop has been preparing for this new legislation and has a location about 20 minutes out of St. George off exit nine toward Mesquite, NV.

Though this is really the only solution with Utah’s flavored vape ban in place, it will be a challenge for locals to get their preferred vapes and vape juices.

Fox 13 said that though the ban went through with the okay from a federal judge, the surprise inspections that legislators also wanted to put into action were blocked.

Despite the fact that flavored vapes are being banned, and all in the name of making sure that kids don’t get ahold of them, there have been no moves to eliminate regular tobacco or cigarette products.

Unflavored products, gum, etc can still be sold and unfortunately make their way into the hands of those who should not have them.

In the meantime, the Utah Vapor Business Association is suing over the law, Fox 13 said.

As of now there is no further action being taken but one can expect that Utah vapers may cross state lines to get their desired products.
