  1. Decorate with Seasonal Accents

It is easy to bring the outside in by adding some fall themed accents.  You can add smaller gourds in varying colors of fall. You can display decorative gourds, pumpkins, or acorns in baskets, inside glass jars, or on the mantel.  Another option is to create a centerpiece with pinecones, dried leaves or berries. A cute idea is to add a fall-themed table runner, add cloth placemats in fall colors or even napkins to your tablescape. Get your home vibing with fall.

  • 2 sprigs of rosemary
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

    5. Bring in a Fresh Fall Bouquet

What flowers do you think of when you think of fall? Mums come to mind for the front porch, but what about for inside?   According to House Beautiful article by Caroline Picard, Hadley Mendelsohn, and Molly Miller "when it comes to creating a striking fall flower arrangement, color and texture are key."   They also mentioned that you shouldn't limit yourself to only flowers. "Twigs and branches, berries and leaves, and even seasonal produce like pumpkins and apples can make excellent accompaniments to flowers or compose clusters of their own." Get those creative fall juices flowing and create a masterpiece to enjoy.

Bringing fall into your home doesn't have to be a tedious affair. With these ideas you can transform your living space into a fall wonderland that's as delightful as it is comforting. So, go forth, embrace the season, and let your home radiate with autumnal charm. Just remember, don't turn into a pumpkin fanatic, be mindful of candle safety, and sprinkle your home with all the warmth and laughter that fall brings. Enjoy the season, pumpkin or no pumpkin!
