Zion National Park gets lots of recognition for its thousands of visitors each year but one of its coolest features, glamping, is often left out.

People who visit Southern Utah are usually outdoors enthusiasts which means camping is a huge thing here. However, some of us prefer glamping where facilities are a little more “indoor like” while still getting the views.

ZNP offers a few glamping options with its Under Canvas suites that allow for stargazing, horseback riding, guided hiking, canyoneering, rock climbing, and biking tours. These are offered on availability and can be added to your Under Canvas tent reservation.

This is definitely the more bougie route to go when visiting ZNP, but it can be a fun experience, especially for those who are looking to spend some time exploring with knowledgeable guides.

Under Canvas also provides “casual counter service dining” and red rock views for visitors.  There are also bottomless smores at the Under Canvas in ZNP which makes for a wonderful experience.

ZNP is also part of the Dark Sky communities which means the nightly view will be epic and unobstructed (weather permitting).

Along with hot showers, wood burning stoves, and a cozy looking tent, visitors can experience the early morning and late-night views of the park that couldn’t be seen in a day trip.

However, the minimum amount for one of the Under Canvas suites is $300 a night, which of course doesn’t include any of the activity fees. So, if glamping in ZNP is your dream, you will want to save up and plan carefully since it's a pricey adventure.
