Celebrate and Feel the Spirit at These Southern Utah Bars

National Bartender Day is on the way and with that I wanted to give you a little bit of background on bars and then let you know about a few places you can visit in Southern Utah to celebrate the day. 

According to the Daily Meal, the history of bars dates to ancient Greece. Greek taverns were largely the stomping grounds of the working classes while the Greek elite drank at private parties known as symposia. It’s nice to know snobs have been around for nearly as long as humanity. 

According to Foxtrot Bar, by ancient Roman times, taverns were arising along roads and trade routes to meet the needs of travelers and soldiers. 

In the colonial days of America, taverns were often built before churches, and by the 19th century, bars were popping up across the Western frontier to offer lodging as well as food and drink to settlers. 

Now that we know the history of bars, let's take a look at some of the places you can visit in Cedar City and St. George.
