Bizzy Bone has been on quite a journey during his decades-long career in the music industry. That journey brought him to the Black Bird Bar, formerly Mikes Tavern, in Cedar City last night.

It was a packed house and a few opening acts along with the night's host DJ Johnny Utah kept the crowd going until Bizzy Bone hit the stage at nearly midnight. Despite the late start, songs from his solo career along with his work with Bone Thugs N Harmony had the crowd singing along with their phones out.

Once the show was over, the crowd was invited to a meet and greet with Bizzy at his merch table. The meet and greet, which had a very long line, lasted well into the wee hours of the morning. This latest show at Black Bird Bar sets up a template for more diverse musical acts stopping by Cedar City on their tours, which, judging by the crowd's reaction last night, I think will be much appreciated by the community.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to finish my large coffee and try to fully wake up.
