We're not angry about them, we just happen to notice a pattern over time.  Mostly we hear questions about religion, weather and politics.  Sometimes we'd like to hear someone move in and ask something normal like "What do you do for a living? or "How many kids do you have?" or "Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight?"

Okay, so the last question wasn't anywhere near normal, but my buddy bet me 5 bucks I couldn't work a Batman reference into an article.  Well well well. How the turntables...pay up loser!  Anyway...

Hearing the same questions time and time again can start to wear us down a bit and make us wonder what people really think of us.  It can get annoying.

If you're new to town, here are a few things you may want to avoid saying right off the bat without a little bit of forethought.
