Russian President Vladimir Putin threatened nuclear war should the U.S. and NATO send troops to Ukraine.

Putin stated in his State of the Union address last week that the alliance was planning to “strike Russian territory” according to an article from The Express.

"They must realize that we also have weapons that can hit targets on their territory. All this really threatens a conflict with the use of nuclear weapons and the destruction of civilization. Don't they get that?"

There are 14 specific locations that could be targeted in the U.S. with a nuclear attack, including a place in Utah.

Hill Air Force Base in Davis, UT which is used for housing military technology, aircraft and missiles.

Though I wasn’t of the age where the Cold War was happening, there are still videos showing how schools prepped for a possible nuclear attack. It's daunting and to think about and the fact that Utah is a target is not super comforting.

Some of the other locations on Putin’s list include The Pentagon, United States Strategic Command and more.
