Why A Wedding Was Shut Down In Las Vegas
Consequences For Being Too Loud Too Late in Las Vegas
A family in the suburbia of Las Vegas was having a backyard wedding complete with a dance floor, lights and chiffon wrapped tables full of treats. Apparently there party went longer and louder than someone appreciated—probably the spurned ex-boyfriend-—and authorities were called and they were told they had to essentially take the party down for the night. They were stunned, in Las Vegas? The city that never sleeps?
So, what is the deal? Was the family mistreated? Or what are the rules for late night parties? Well it largely on where and how the party is planned.

Here are some interesting party rules that you might want to know of if you visit or party in the Las Vegas area:
Suburbia Las Vegas Has Noise Ordinances
Sorry my wedding celebrating friends it turns out there are noise ordinances in the Las Vegas area.
Even the strip has rules that it has to abide by, but even more so in neighborhoods. You can get a noise permit for an event, like concerts, street celebrations or even big weddings where you are determined to raise the roof into the late hours.
No parties in Hotel Rooms in Las Vegas
Believe it or not it is not accepted to have a party in your hotel room. This is confusing to those of us who have seen movies of party after party in Las Vegas. Now to be fair there are suites set up for parties, but your average room in your average casino won't be available for your average party. Who wants to go to an average party anyway?
Your Age Can Determine an Appropriate Nighttime Activity in Las Vegas
Like most areas the Las Vegas area does have curfews for those 18 and under. The time and nature of activity changes from area to area so you will want to check before you release the hounds to go find a nighttime adventure.
Apparently in the city that touts that anything goes has similar rules that exist in sleepy town USA. Who knew?
