It was 10:07am and I was thinking about lunch. I'm from the Chicagoland area which is Italian Beef country.

And the restaurant that serves the best Italian Beef in the country is Portillo's in my humble opinion.

So here I am thinking about Italian Beef in St. George, UT, where I know I can't get it, but I Google it anyway.

And what popped up surprised me because I had never been to this place.

Now, before we get started... an Italian Beef is very different from a Philly Cheesesteak.

In a cheesesteak the cheese is the featured player.

Whereas an Italian Beef, the seasoned meat and the peppers are the star.

But, the genre of sandwich is similar enough that I will settle for what I found. I mean, look at this picture:

This sucker is a Philly Cheesesteak, but look at those peppers. It's not giardiniera like on a Italian but I'll take it. I'm going to this place today.

Up close and personal. Looks incredible.

They also serve Monte Cristos!! Look at that raspberry jam and deep fried exterior of one of the richest sandwiches ever conceived by man. And it's right in my backyard. Literally down the street.

Drumstick! Cornbread! Ribs?!

This place as many of you probably know by now is Chuck's Phat Philly's and it's a food truck on Bluff Street next to Kneaders.

It has a 5.0 rating on Google and I haven't been there yet somehow. I'll be going later today.
