The TOP PLACES To Go On A Date In Southern Utah!
Keep the Romance Alive: Exciting Date Ideas in Southern Utah
If you've finally scored that girl you've been crushing on forever, or maybe you've been in a relationship for a long time, YOU GOTTA KEEP DATING! Fun dates! You can't just do dinner and a movie every Friday night. Here are some of the MOST SOUTHERN UTAH places to go on a date!
Fun and Games: Unforgettable Experiences at Fiesta Fun
1. Fiesta Fun Fiesta Fun is a family fun center with go-karts, bowling, laser tag, mini golf, and bumper boats. But, the thing you REALLY want to do on this date is take her to the arcade. You can either give her $20 and you take $20, and see who can get the most tickets, like a competition, or you use the $40 together. You also can't go wrong by eating at the Barre Grill, the restaurant inside Fiesta Fun, that has MAYBE the best pizza in all of Southern Utah! It's a fun place to have a date, and my favorite spot.
Hidden Gems: Savor the Flavors at Silver Reef Brewery
2. Silver Reef Brewery: This is a pretty lesser-known place in Southern Utah. It's located out of town a bit and pretty hidden. But, they have the best food! I've had about 95% of the menu and it's all so good. If she likes beer, this is a great place because it's an actual brewery. But if you're going for lunch, you can't go wrong with the Club Sandwich. It's my favorite club sandwich I've ever had and their fries are to die for!
Adventure Awaits: Thrilling Ice Blocking Fun
3. Ice Blocking I haven't done this since I was in high school, and this is definitely a date idea for younger people. But you buy a block of ice from any grocery store or gas station, and bring a towel. Go to a park or somewhere with a big long hill. Put the iceblock at the top of the hill, put the towel on top of the ice block, and ride the ice block down the hill. you can gain some speed, but it's really fun. I'm not sure if it's legal or not to do it on any of the hills at the city parks, because I think it might kill the grass, so you have to do it at night when nobody is around.
Italian Delights: Dining at the Pasta Factory
4. Pasta Factory One of my all-time favorite restaurants in town is Pasta Factory. There's outdoor seating with misters when it's hot, and heaters when it's cold. Amazing pasta, and even better breadsticks. If you're smart, you eat lots of breadsticks (with their alfredo sauce) and then when your food comes out, you eat a little, and box it up to take it home. BOOM. Two meals for the price of one. Plus, once I went on a date here and found out that a girl and her family love stealing the parmesan cheese and the cheese grater from italian restaurants. RED FLAG!
Nature's View: Magical Moments at Dixie Rock
5. Dixie Rock This is so cliche, but it's always fun and unique. You'll see the entire city up on that hill, but there's always a lot of people up there. Fun Fact: If you lay upside down, and overlook the city... they say it looks like the ocean with a huge boat coming to the shore!
