3 Years Later: Things Our Offspring Won’t Believe Happened!

It's now been three years since the start of THE PANDEMIC! Can you believe it? THREE YEARS! When we sit back and think about the things we did, it doesn't even feel real!

JOE EXOTIC:

He stole the hearts of America! The Tiger King is still in prison, but forever in our hearts. We all fell in love with this flamboyant tiger trainer who ALLEGEDLY paid a hitman to kill his competition, Carol Baskin.

TOILET PAPER:

We had a MAJOR SHORTAGE, and people were fighting over it like it was the NEW
X-BOX on Black Friday! Some people were selling toilet paper online for 5x the market value! Grocery stores even had a limit on how many packages you could buy. It was truly A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

MAJOR QUARANTINE:

Remember when you'd receive a notification on your phone that said "SOMEONE AROUND YOU TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19", and that would send some of us to go get tested, like we just had a wild night in Vegas! If you had a little scratchy throat, or runny nose you were NOT welcomed at work! (I miss those days)

BANANA BREAD:

I don't even know why this was a thing, but EVERYONE was baking Banana Bread! I'm not even mad about it though. Banana Bread is THE CAT'S PAJAMAS!

MASKS:

Obviously, we all remember wearing the masks, BUT remember how EVERYONE had a mask hanging from their rearview mirrors? Remember how frustrating it was when you'd approach a store, and as you reach the front door you'd realize you forgot your mask and turn back for it? I don't miss that AT ALL!

HAZMAT GUY/ASTRONAUT:

It would be a fairly normal Tuesday at Smith's and suddenly... You see someone covered head to toe in a homemade astronaut suit! Covid is NOT going to get them! We'd all secretly take our phones out and snap ALL the photos we could!

INAPPROPRIATE ZOOM MEETINGS:

Most of the country was working from home, which meant ZOOM Meetings on the regular! It felt like every day, we'd hear about a guy doing SOMETHING without realizing his camera on. Truly, an incredibly funny time to be alive!

CELEBRITIES SINGING SONGS TO MAKE US FEEL BETTER:

I still cringe that this happened. Celebrities would all get together and sing songs like John Lennon's "Imagine" to somehow tell us it will be okay. These celebrities were then MERCILESSLY made fun of over this. SO CRINGE!

CONCERT IN YOUR HOUSE:

This time, it was actual artists performing concerts directly to your living rooms. They tried telling us how awesome it would be. It wasn't. We were on our couches watching concerts and it totally sucked.

PEOPLE ON TV WEARING MASKS... ALONE:

The pandering was at an ALL TIME HIGH! You would see people on TV wearing masks. Alone. With nobody around. Or.. Even worse: People wearing masks while driving their car alone. This crap is so funny! I'm laughing just thinking about it!
