I can understand how divided the world is right now. As a state, a nation, and, well, as a planet, we've been through a lot of stressful events over the last few years. I like to think we're a little more reasonable in Arizona, but I'm having doubts.

No matter how you stand politically, it doesn't make sense that we're taking our frustrations out on each other. The recent trends of violence and bullying targeted at Tesla owners across our state is baffling to me, and I think the topic raises a lot of questions about who we are in Arizona.

Anger at the government is one thing but against a vehicle owner?

I can see how inflammatory Tesla creator Elon Musk has been. There are a lot of angry people who are upset about his controversial Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) policies.

DOGE has terminated government contracts, audited government credit cards, slashed departments, throttled funding to several federal agencies, and slashed the federal workforce.

Yet, nobody voted for Elon Musk.

It's not hard to understand why voters are upset.

Shocking Attacks Against Tesla Owners in Arizona

Shaking a fist at the government is understandable; unprovoked acts of violence against private citizens are not. Over the last few weeks, there have been reports of violence in Arizona against Tesla vehicles and their owners.

One of the most shocking incidents of violence against a Tesla owner happened near Flagstaff.

A 61-year-old woman, who asked to remain anonymous, was assaulted while driving her Tesla on Route 66. The man who attacked her began by blocking her vehicle. Then he physically attacked her.

Susan's Tesla cameras captured the shocking attack. Video footage showed the man punching her multiple times before being pulled away by her passenger.

This attack was not an isolated incident. It seems to be part of a pattern of violence and vandalism against Tesla owners, vandalizing vehicles in parking lots and gas stations. People have also turned their anger on Tesla dealerships, lighting vehicles on fire with Molotov cocktails.

Why the Anger Against Tesla DRIVERS in Arizona?

Why are people so mad at Tesla owners? We understand that Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, is extremely polarizing.

Many of the violent protesters see their acts as political statements against Musk and, by extension, President Donald Trump.

Tesla owners are getting caught in the middle of this feud. Most owners bought their cars for practical reasons, like environmental benefits and advanced technology, not political reasons. The expensive vehicles are an investment decision that most people did not make lightly.

Now, Tesla owners are facing hostility and assumptions about their political beliefs simply because of the cars they drive.
