The U.S. Presidential election is long past however; current President Donald Trump is “advertising” for a 2028 campaign.

Utah, which has historically been a red state, proved once again that Trump is favored by a majority of Utahns. Over half the state, 59.4% voted him in for this term. In Washington County, he got an overwhelming 75.2% of the votes.

This doesn’t come as much of a surprise with all the Make America Great Again (MAGA) signs posted in Utah yards and on Utah vehicles.

However, despite Utah’s seeming favor for Trump, would running for a third term actually be accepted by Utah?

Well, it is unconstitutional and many online have taken the newly released Trump 2028 hats sold on his online store as a joke. However, Trump told NBC News he was not joking about running for a third term.

Is it realistic for Utah to support this? Who knows honestly however, since it is only the beginning of Trump’s second term in office, there is a long way to go before this becomes more concerning.

The Trump hats for 2028 were advertised on Thursday and are $50 which is no small price for a hat. You can also purchase a 2028 shirt on the website.

Whether or not you support Trump, this is some pretty early “campaigning” even for a current president.

Utah, I would love to know what you think about all this. Is it a joke or would you seriously consider Trump for a third term? Send me a message on FB!
