Fudge Recall Impacts Utah TJ Maxx and Marshalls
Utah and surrounding states are under a U.S. Food and Drug Administration Recall of a certain chocolate.
Last week the FDA sent out a recall alert on Canadian chocolate company Authentik Fudge of Sainte-Julie. The chocolate fudge with nuts is the specific flavor that Utahns need to watch out for because of possible mold growth contamination.
Sold in TJ MAXX and Marshalls, this chocolate can be found in Montreal Fudge containers.
Though there have been no reported illnesses the FDA is still urging those who have purchased the chocolate to dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
The mold was discovered by a consumer who found mold in the box and the FDA found evidence of mold in some unopened products at the manufacturing location, they said.

If you have consumed these already and are feeling sick, contact the FDA to let them know as soon as possible.
These chocolates should not be available at this point in time however, some may have already been purchased by the public.
