Utah is famous for Skinwalker Ranch, a known area of UFO sightings and deep connections to Skinwalkers. There is even a whole show on the place.

However, there are other places to go in the state if you're looking to get scared. Who knows, you might even discover a new cryptid walking around. But I must warn you to be smart because if you go to these places and get snatched...it won’t be on me.

Escalante Petrified Forest State Park

You’ll be “petrified” if you don’t heed the curse of Escalante Petrified Forest State Park...sort of.

Legend goes that any who takes from the forest will be cursed with bad luck for the rest of their lives or until that which was taken is returned, Utah.com said. It’s a beautiful place during the day but at night you might get some creepy vibes.

Antelope Island

Utahn’s may be familiar with the legendary grave robber Jean Baptiste who was the bane of Salt Lake City Police in the 1800s. He was caught in 1862 and banished to Antelope Island with a tattoo placed on the forehead, Visit Utah.com said.

That year, Antelope Island had a low water year which means Baptiste easily could have walked to the mainland. He was quickly moved to Fremont Island.

Later, when checked upon, only his shelter (dismantled) and a slaughtered cow was found. Some think he died on Fremont Island and continues to haunt it or that he drowned attempting to escape and now haunts to Great Salt Lake waters.

Either way...both are definitely haunted either by slaughtered cow or Baptiste himself.
