The Utah State Fair Is coming up soon and will have lots of attractions and yummy foods but there are things you can’t bring.

As with any event, the USF has its own set of rules and regulations on what vendors, patrons, and even organizers and volunteers can bring into the fairgrounds. Some of these are for safety and some are just odd.

Most regulations have a purpose however, so respecting them is paramount.

Here Is a List of Banned Items at The Utah State Fair

  • No Pets. Like most establishments, the Utah State Fair does not allow you to bring pets outside of service animals. Of course, those who are performing or exhibiting for the fair are an exception.
  • Probably for safety purposes, no roller blades, skateboards, motorcycles or golf carts are allowed on the fairgrounds. Well, not without written permission anyway.
  • No fire or flammables. So, anyone who was planning to set off fireworks will be escorted out.
  • If you plan on having a cussing battle, you need to do it before you enter. Those who use offensive/abusive words will be kicked out. This includes what you wear but is at the discretion of the Fair Executive Director.
  • A bad attitude. Not really but you should try to have fun.

You can, however, bring firearms since Utah is an open carry state.

So, if you’re planning on going to the Utah State Fair this year (which you should) just make sure you don’t plan to bring these things in. Heck, you can even bring your own food and coolers inside, but you’ll miss out on the yummy fair food.

Items That Are Banned At The Minnesota State Fair

The Great Minnesota Get-Together is not only the best event of the year in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, but it is a must for anyone who calls themselves a true Minnesotan. Before you go to the Minnesota State Fair though, make sure you don't bring along any of these prohibited items.
